What? swim? us?

This day in history, we took the '16 to Albert park, and then trekked a few kay's to the pool. arriving at the largest multifunction sports complex in the southern hemisphere.

After changing in the nearest phone box, our hero jumps gung-ho into the competition pool. Then a few laps later, he realizes his knee is sore from all the walking, and absconds to the leisure pool. The leisure pool is why everyone goes to the center, with a wave pool that operates 5 minutes every half hour.

With a swell of 90cm it is good fun for all. Our hero decides to set a precedent and body surf the waves to 'shore', which seemed like a great idea, until Pierre clocks someone in the head! After this and a brief changing session among the English rugby team, the crew decides to head back to 'kilda .

Taking our good friend the '16 we head to acland st. Whilst the women folk buy lunch at the noble shop of coles, Pierre goes off to frequent his favorite shop, Acland st liquor. A quick chat to the store man and his email is added to the mailing list, and opens the possibility of mail order beer!

The brew discovered today was Holsten Lager, which looks good and comes with a free bag all for $12.95! I will let everyone know how it is later on.... For myself? oh yes lunch was some chicken and nacho kebabs - don't they look great?

So tonight, Mr Superhero is heading to the Prince of Wales hotel in 'kilda and checking it out - on some nights there is professional wrestling on yay! After the Price, Pierre is heading of to the famous Pelligrinis cafe/bar for tea!
